Preparing Your Quilt:

§ Quilt top and backing should be squared off, pressed, and free of threads.

§ Batting and backing must be at least 4” to 6” larger than quilt top on all sides.

§ Do not baste or pin layers together.

§ For pieced backings — Remove any selvage edges from seams.

§ Selvages should be left on outer edges.
